Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is the science of growing indoors. It allows crops to be grown in a protected environment extending the growing season. CEA structures span a continuum from a simple hoop house to a greenhouse to a mushroom grow room to a sophisticated indoor vertical farm.
After three years of extensive R&D, we have combined the best attributes of a greenhouse and a vertical farm to create a cost-effective structure to grow leafy greens and mushrooms year-round in any climate.
Our patented indoor growing technology allows growers to achieve a high density of crops in a small footprint using modules that create a growing system. This includes an equipment room, seeding room, germ room, nursery, monocrop grow rooms, and packing room. Modules can be customized to the crop and a client’s budget or sold separately.
CEA Technology, Inc. is passionate about designing sustainable growing technology
that is robust, reliable and can conserve our two most precious resources - soil and water
allowing farmers to grow year-round free of pesticides!
We have three proprietary innovations that make our patented growing system unique.
Our Management Team consists of engineers, and horticulturist with over 100 years of combined experienced in building vertical farms and greenhouses. We formed a partnership with RUFEPA a Spanish manufacturer and builder of greenhouses to provide our modular structure and have additional partnerships with technology providers that supply our Fertigator and Climate Control system, HVAC, Water Treatment and LED lights. We have an extensive network of industry and academic partners that can assist in the design, customization, and installation of our growing systems. All farms include a one-year warranty and technical support.
